The Brené Brown Altar

I studied with Brene Brown back in 2016 and her work around shame and vulnerability had a profound effect on the internalised shame that had lived within me for most of my life.
This altar is to inspire the courage it takes to change. The courage that is needed to be fully you, just as you are, allowing all the parts that were shamed to come back and be met with love, kindness and validation.

This is a tiny childlike altar with a big love heart in the middle with a metal lion charm stitched onto it. This altar artwork is hand stitched from pre-loved fabrics, beads and a lion charm. The altar is small enough to fit in your pocket.
