So often we can be focused on striving and serving the ‘do more culture’ hoping to feel more happiness but I (and countless others) have discovered that joy is the mindful art of noticing and savouring the little things.

Noticing the buds on the trees, and then seeing a tiny nest forming on its branches
The birdsong chorus every morning,
Fresh sheets on my bed and the rain on our corrugated iron roof.
The gentle snores of my husband and our dog Raffy.
A warming cup of tea.

This charm is made from a pre-loved tapestry cushion with various crystal beads and buttons sewn on. It is finished off with a bright purple satin ribbon.
